The primary goal for this blog and web site is to help anyone diagnosed with cancer know that it can be won—It’s not a death sentence. My book is about my 6-year battle with stage 4 Endometrial/Peritoneal Cancer and how I have beat the odds. It has been a long war which still goes on, but in a different way today. Over my struggles, I have gone through many hard and very scary times, but had many Angels who guided and helped along my path to recovery. My story relates all the mistakes and pitfalls I encountered with hospitals and doctors and my hope is that this book will help others not go through what I did. Please share this website with others, you may never know who you will help in doing so. To purchase this book, please go to the Book link on the top of this website.
To your health and long life! Thank you!

Hi Allis,
I am so happy to hear you beat cancer. I went to your site and read your story. I saw your list of books and I have read so many of them. I noticed a book that changed my life, “Eat to Live” by Dr. Joel Fuhrman. After reading it, I went cold turkey ( no pun intended) and became a plant based vegan over 5 1/2 years ago. Every woman on one side of the family had breast cancer and his findings about the link between dairy and breast cancer ( and prostrate cancer) shocked me. I have had three biopsies ( before going vegan) that all came back benign but were suspicious. I was always called back for suspicious mammograms and needed ultrasounds too. After going plant based for five months, I went from my mammo and the tech was shocked and thought she had someone else’s film from the prior year. It was completely clear and I was not called back for anything! My husband also had a wart that three different dermatologists tried to burn with three sessions each per doctor with no success. He went plant based and within six months, the wart was gone. My premenopausal acne also went away.
It makes me so mad that we were never taught about all of this. It is so nice that your story will give people hope and I hope it will make them turn away from traditional medicine and look into diet and alternative medicine. I saw your open letter to Charles Krauthammer. He is such a brilliant man. Maybe he will also gain hope from it.
It is so nice to know that I have a relative ( even though very distant) that has had such success. I am truly so happy for you. I wish you much success with your book. “Let Food be Thy Medicine”, Hippocrates.
Blessings,
Kim W
